WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Way before the film begins. Tampa Theatre's Cinemas Snacks tents will open at 5:45 pm. Part of the fun will be arriving early to picnic, toss a Frisbee, people-watch and enjoy the early evening with your friends and neighbors. Prior to the film, you might even see yourself on the big screen as snapshots of guests at the park are flashed upon the screen.
WHAT IF I AM PLANNING TO COME WITH A LARGE GROUP?
We do not reserve space for groups. We recommend a member of your group arrive early and lay out blankets for your group. The Sunset Cinema Snacks tents will open at 5:45.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Along with your friends and family, you might want to bring blankets, compact beach or lawn chairs, your own snacks, beverages, and rain gear if the weather is iffy. If you like to toss nerf balls or Frisbees, bring them. If you like to read, bring a book to read prior to sunset and the start of the movie.
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED?
Beer, wine and alcoholic beverages, fireworks and firearms are prohibited by city ordinance.
CAN I BRING MY DOG(S)?
Well behaved pets are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash. Please clean up after your pets. We love our dogs just as much as you, but we will revisit our policy if pet owners are inconsiderate of others, or if the large crowds, darkness and abrupt loudness of the movies make pets disruptive to others.
WHAT FOOD, BEVERAGES AND MERCHANDISE WILL BE AVAILABLE?
Tampa Theatre will provide all Sunset Cinema concessions and merchandise booths, featuring a traditional theater concessions stand offering popcorn ($2), candy ($3) soft drinks ($2) Gatorade, bottled water ($3), and juice boxes for the kids ($1). Fun souvenirs like official Sunset Cinema Frisbees and picnic blankets will also be available. Proceeds from concessions and merchandise sales help support Tampa Theatre’s year-round artistic and educational programming, and offset the cost of producing Sunset Cinema events.
WHAT ARE THE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS?
Sunset Cinema events are free and open to all with the seating location of your choice. All Sunset Cinema events will be produced in park settings which will have a large expanse of open grass. You may bring your own blankets, low profile camp chairs, beach chairs, and lawn chairs.
Tampa Theatre will have available for purchase Sunset Cinema commemorative picnic blankets ($20).
HOW WILL THE FILMS BE SHOWN?
We project our movies on a high-quality digital rear-projection system on a giant, inflatable 50-foot wide screen. Dual, synchronized digital projectors will produce an image that is luminous and crisp, and a powerful sound system will allow guests to enjoy the movie from almost anywhere in the park.
WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS?
Portable sanitation units will be provided.
WHAT HAPPENS TO LOST PROPERTY?
We will try our best to get things back to their rightful owners. Please notify someone at the Information Booth before you leave to report any lost items and leave your details with them.
WHERE DO I THROW AWAY MY TRASH?
Trash and recycling receptacles will be provided. Please clean up after yourself, being careful not to dump ice in the park.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
The Tampa area is known for the scattered showers that are prominent during the late afternoons. The dark sky can intimidate and it may look grim for an outdoor movie, but don't let that scare you away. We will show a movie in light rain. We will only stop the show for safety reasons if there are very strong winds or lightning in the vicinity. Otherwise...the show will go on!
If you come prepared and can get through any bumps in the weather, the outdoor movie experience will be extremely rewarding. Don't forget rain ponchos and jackets, blankets or sleeping bags to fend off any chillier night air.

In his classic, "The Prophet," Kahlil Gibran writes: "Always you have been told that work is a curse... But I say to you that when you work you fulfill a part of earth's furthest dream, assigned to you when that dream was born."
Unfortunately Kahlil's words don't jibe with a new Australian study that found almost one in six cases of depression among working people caused by job stress, that nearly one in five (17 percent) working women suffering from depression attribute their condition to job stress and more than one in eight (13 percent) depression attribute their condition to job stress and more than one in eight (13 percent) working men do the same. In the last decade, the number of American workers that say job stress is a major problem in their lives has doubled. In fact, the US Department of Health reported that 70 percent of physical and mental complaints at work are related to stress.
What do we do? Bring our Kleenex to work and hope we don't get caught crying, or give our notice with no other job in reach? Thankfully, we have a few steps between these two extremes. Here are 12 techniques that have helped me manage the workplace blues.
Don't Quit Yet
Let me just say this first. Chances are higher that you will feel worse if you quit than if you keep on showing up to a job that you hate. Why? If you're not working, you will have even more time to think about how much you hated your job. On top of the acute anxiety you feel when you think about how you are going to pay off your next phone, electric, and mortgage bill without the regular paycheck being deposited automatically into your bank account. And then there's the isolation of having no one to talk to during the day, because... one small detail... everyone else you know is probably working. So just sit tight until you read through, say, ten of these tips before you gladly give your notice, okay?
Learn Some Calming Techniques
You relax your shoulders in a way that relieves some of that tension and tells your body that slugging him isn't an option (right now, anyway).
Improve Your Working Conditions
But there are simple ways you can improve even the most sterile and miserable working conditions: putting a nice plant in your cubicle, hanging or framing personal photos (a recent study say that looking at pictures of loved ones reduces pain), using a 10,000 lux daylight balanced light (a lamp used for Seasonal Affective Disorder, but doesn't look any different from an average desk light). Keeping a clean desk will also help you feel less overwhelmed.
Get a Life Outside of Work
If I were to name the single most important lesson I learned when I was in a psych ward, it would be this: get a life outside of work. You see, pre-psych ward, I had invested all my self-esteem into my profession. Thus, each career flop set me back a considerable chunk. If a book bombed, so did my self-confidence.

Take a Break
Last but not least be grateful and remember that pair of shoes you want ..I know it's hard to say but you could be unemployed..

I don't Know about you but I'm always looking for ways to improve,budget tips, the who's-who, where to go, I been there before so i don't make the same mistake type tips. This blog is to help us help each other. Like right now the economy is hurting us all or somebody close to us. I am in the process of looking for employment and there maybe others looking for employment as well. I of course don't mind sharing leads that I recieve with others. With the economy as tight as it is, we all are looking for a good bargain or reasonable place to purchase insurance. These are just some of the things that we can share. Another case would be when I first came here, I didn't even know where to get good food or what schools were no good for the children or what areas were not suitable to live in. Although, I have been here for quite a while now, I still find out new things everyday so if anyone has any good tips, information or just anything they would like someone to research for them while they are at work, drop by and drop a line.
